Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) held its 48th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and conducted the Elections for a new body of its Executive Board on Friday, the 6th January, 2012 in Kathmandu.
Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Lokendra Bista inaugurated the AGM on the same day at Hotel Radisson in the capital.
Following the AGM, NATTA elections officer Mr. Bishnu Prasad Baskota announced new executive committee of NATTA elected unanimously. According to him, Mr. Pravitra Kumar Karki, Mr. Madhu Sudan Acharya,  Mr. Sambhu Pathak, Mr. Achyut Sharma Guragain have been elected as the President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Secretary General respectively.
Newly elected President Karki was the 1st Vice President in the immediate NATTA Board and Mr. Acharya and Mr. Guragain were also Secretary General and Secretary in the then committee.
Likewise, Mr. Santosh Gautam, Mr. Navaraj Sapkota and Mr. Gokul KC were announced as Treasurer, Joint Treasurer and Secretary respectively and Mr. Raja Shakya, Mr. Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Mr. Sange Gurung, Mr. D K Sharma, Mrs. Jiswan Tuladhar, Mr. Bibek Bijayananda and Mrs. Sabita Bhattarai KC have been elected NATTA Executive members.
